MANILA – The Bureau of the Treasury (BTr) fully awarded bills for Treasury bills (T-bills) on Monday.

The 92-, 183-, and 365-day T-bills fetched average rates of 5.667 percent, 5.908 percent, and 6.039 percent, respectively.

The BTr said these are all lower than the prevailing secondary market rates.

In comparison, the Bloomberg Valuation Service rates settled at 5.704 percent for the three-month tenor, 6.0 percent for the six-month tenor, and 6.081 percent for the one-year tenor.

The auction was 2.8 times oversubscribed, attracting PHP42.4 billion in total tenders.

With its decision, the BTr raised the full program of PHP15 billion for the auction. (PNA)
