MANILA – The National Development Company (NDC) and the Toll Regulatory Board (TRB) have signed a Memorandum of Agreement and Deeds of Absolute Sale to acquire a land in Pandacan, Manila that is affected by the Metro Manila Skyway Stage 3 Project.

NDC General Manager Anton Mauricio and TRB Executive Director Alvin Carullo led the signing of deals at NDC's Philippine Innovation Hub last June 11.

The deals involved a 1.3-hectare land owned by NDC that will be acquired by TRB.

"NDC’s property is a single 5-hectare parcel of land. The Skyway structures split the property into three irregular fragments. There were two deeds of sale because one is for the area affected by the main alignment of the MMSS3 Project and the other one was for the area affected by the interconnection structure," NDC said.

It added that the agreement ensures a smooth and equitable process for the acquisition of properties impacted by the Skyway 3 project.

"This agreement reflects our commitment to responsible urban development and community welfare. We extend our gratitude to TRB for their cooperation throughout this process," Mauricio said.

"The signing of the MOA underscores our shared commitment to delivering infrastructure projects that benefit the public while respecting property rights and promoting sustainable development," Carullo added. (PNA)
