SAN JOSE DE BUENAVISTA, Antique –The Commission on Elections (Comelec) in San Jose de Buenavista, this province’s capital town, will hold a satellite registration in Barangay Badiang on June 12.

San Jose de Buenavista Election Officer III Johnna Catilo said services like registration, application for transfer and correction of entry are available from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the village gym.

“We are inviting voters and those who will be 18 years old by May 12, 2025 to avail of the registration,” she said.

She also appealed to deactivated voters to avail of the one-day special registration.

The Register Anywhere Program (RAP), where voters from places outside Antique could apply, is also available.

RAP will be until July 31 only because the Comelec will need more time to process the registration records and forward them to the home provinces.

“We had already conducted satellite registration in six barangays of San Jose de Buenavista,” Catilo said.

Interested applicants must bring their government-issued identification cards or birth certificates. (PNA)
